BURRITOS
These wraps are great for when you’re on the go or if you need some extra food to meet you calories; honestly anything. I had specifically made these for breakfast and they worked out perfectly for me-, as I often forget to prep for breakfast or run out of ideas- these really helped me out and kept me on track! I froze mine to keep them fresh and I’ll explain on how I did it
So let’s get started!
What you’ll need:
Tortilla shells ( I used regular white, I prefer the taste)
Veggies of any kind
Protein ( beans, eggs, crab)
What I did:
I cooked the veggies with seasoningI cooked some eggs and some crab
I divided my veggies and protein on to each shell between vegetarian and meat ( to switch it up)
How to freeze and keep fresh?
Place your burrito onto a wide enough sheet of parchment paper and wrap it tightly
Use an elastic band to keep it tight and together
Place each wrapped burrito into a freezer zip lock bag
These are good for up to one month, frozen!
Reheat
Take the burrito out of the paper and place onto a damp paper towel
Mircrowave your burrito for2-3 minutes( depending on your microwave)
And viola! Bon appetite!
The entire cooking process cook me about 10 minutes – Preparation about 20 minutes ; total time : 30 minutes but can certainly be condensed depending how your ingredients.
